Psychoeducational Assessment

Applicants to Rundle Academy must have an independent psychoeducational assessment conducted prior to applying to the school. Rundle does not conduct these assessments, but can make recommendations to psychologists who may be available to assess prospective students. The assessment needs  to have been conducted within the last three years of the application date.

The assessment needs to include both academic and intellectual testing. The tests that best fit this criteria are typically the WISC and the WIAT.  Our mandate is to service students who have average to above average intelligence and are diagnosed with a learning disability.  Your son or daughter must be eligible for specific coding through Alberta Learning.
