Is Rundle a registered charity? Will I receive a tax receipt for my donation?
Yes, Rundle is a charitable organization registered under Rundle College Society with the Canada Revenue Agency (#107940892RR0001) and all donations will receive a charitable tax receipt.
What does my tuition pay for?
Rundle’s tuition fees and government grants cover the cost of school operations.
Why does Rundle need to fundraise?
Facility and program enhancements, elevated professional development opportunities for teachers and staff, and student financial aid are a few of the impact areas that are funded primarily by charitable gifts made to Rundle.
What is the difference between Rundle’s PAC’s and the Advancement Department?
Rundle PACs (Parent Advisory Committees) work closely with the parents and principals at their campus or school group to provide feedback to the Principal regarding matters pertaining to the school, support faculty and staff and to provide opportunities to enrich the experience of students. The PAC’s operate with their own budget to support their efforts. As such, they may occasionally fundraise to support their efforts.
Rundle’s Advancement department is responsible for managing fundraising for the Rundle College Society charitable organization, which includes Rundle’s Annual Fund, capital campaigns, and the establishment of specific required funds, bursaries, scholarships and awards.
Where are funds directed?
Donors are able to direct their donations to the impact area that means the most to them. As part of Rundle’s Annual Fund, the following impact areas are made available:
From time to time, Rundle will have projects or capital campaigns in need of funding. These opportunities will be shared on our website, through physical and digital communications and the opportunity to support will be made available.
Can I direct my donation somewhere else within Rundle?
Rundle is pleased to consider all gift direction requests and will do our best to support your charitable giving goals. Please connect with our Advancement team directly to share a specific request for a gift direction.
What if I want my donation to go where it is needed most?
Unrestricted donations can be made to the Head of School Fund and will be directed toward the areas of greatest need across our schools.
Can I make donations monthly?
Yes, monthly donations are a fantastic way to give! You can choose the amount that fits your budget and still provide a substantial legacy for Rundle’s programs and students. Monthly donations can be set up online with the option of receiving individual monthly or cumulative annual tax receipts.
