Rundle Academy

Grade 4 – Grade 12

Unique among independent schools in Canada, Rundle delivers parallel College and Academy programs on two separate campuses. The Academy program meets the needs of students who have a diagnosed learning disability, with or without ADHD. Our students are in the average to above-average range of intellectual functioning but have difficulties with specific academic activities and skills.

Rundle Academy is a caring learning community where students have the space to develop confidence, self-esteem and motivation to excel academically and grow in their love for learning.

  • a dynamic, interactive online learning environment for students in grades 7–11
  • a learning space built to help students with diagnosed learning disabilities thrive

Family Support Fund

Mills-Herrera Family 

The Mills-Herrera family are cherished members of our Rundle College community. Parents, Alan and Tamara, and daughter, Leisha, have become well known and loved over the past two years in our primary school. Sadly, Tamara recently lost her courageous battle with cancer with Alan and Leisha by her side. Leisha emulates her mother’s kind heart, positive outlook, and ability to live life to the fullest. Like her mother, Leisha adds tremendous joy to our community with the same loving smile and innate ability to connect with those around her. Therefore, let’s come together to provide support to the Mills-Herrera Family during this difficult time.

Rundle College Society has created the Rundle Family Support Fund for the Mills-Herrera Family. Donations received will support Leisha during her time at Rundle to assist the family with after-school care, and if necessary, other related Rundle expenses such as c.Lab and summer camps. 

If you are interested in supporting the Mills-Herrera Family, please visit our online donation page to make a gift. Please select “Rundle Family Support Fund — Mills-Herrera Family” under the Funds dropdown menu.

Funds raised for the Rundle Family Support Fund will be used for the specified purposes while the family is enrolled at Rundle. In the event that the supported family withdraws from Rundle, any unused donated funds will remain at Rundle and be designated to the Rundle Bursary Fund. Donations over $25 will receive a tax receipt.
