How to Make the Most of Our Open House
Published on August 19, 2026
Rundle’s annual Open House, held on Thursday, Sept. 24, is a wonderful opportunity for parents and students to meet the people who make our community so special and get a feel for what life is really like at Rundle. Because this event is expected to be well attended, we kindly ask that children under 5 not attend.
To make the most of your visit, here are six tips to help you get the most out of Rundle Open House.
1. Explore the entire campus
Take advantage of the opportunity to walk through both the K-6 and 7-12 buildings on our College campus. Visit classrooms, outdoor learning spaces, the Learning Commons, athletics facilities, music and art rooms and every other nook and cranny to get a hands-on look at how our students learn, grow, and connect throughout their journey at Rundle.
2. Meet our teachers
This is your opportunity to meet our incredible teaching staff! Learn about our approach to teaching, what students can expect in their classrooms, and how our incredible teachers support each student’s individual learning and interests.
3. Connect with student volunteers
Our student volunteers can offer prospective families a perspective that you won’t find on a website or in a brochure. Feel free to ask them about their experience at Rundle, activities they enjoy, what they’ve learned on their Rundle journey so far, and what makes our community feel like home for them.
4. Discover our programs
Take time to learn about the programs we offer. Explore the many opportunities available to students and consider how our academic, co-curricular, athletic, arts and leadership programs can support your child’s interests and development.
5. Speak with our enrolment team
Members of our enrolment team will be available to answer questions about the admissions process, entry points, timelines and what to expect as you consider joining the Rundle community.
6. Come with questions – and curiosity
Every family has different priorities. Before you arrive, think about what matters most to you and your child, and use your time at Rundle to find answers. Most importantly, take your time, explore, ask questions and experience Rundle for yourself!
Our hope is that you leave our open house with a clearer picture of Rundle and a sense of whether our community feels like the right fit for your family.
