Admission Process

Step 1: Please contact to request an admission application.

Step 2: Book your Academy tour and complete the application form.

A complete application will include:

  • Completed online application
  • Copy of the student’s birth certificate
  • Recent photograph of the student
  • Last two years of student’s final report cards and IPPs
  • Most recent Provincial Achievement test results
  • $100 non-refundable application fee
  • Copy of the student’s psychoeducational evaluation

Step 3: Preadmission Interview

Each application package will be reviewed by the admissions team. If Rundle Academy seems to be a mutually good fit and if openings are available, then families will be invited for a preadmission interview. The interview will include members of the admissions team, the student and the parent(s) and will also include a tour of the school for the student. Following the interview, we will contact the family to inform them if the student will be offered admission for the following September.

Admission to Rundle Academy is based on the student’s qualification for applicable educational coding, psychoeducational assessment report, school report cards and IPP, preadmission interview, and availability of spaces.

Applications for Grades 4 to 12 are accepted throughout the year for consideration to Rundle Academy for the following September. Please be aware that we receive more applications than we have available spaces. Furthermore, it is our practice to accept candidates who we deem to be the best fit for our program at Rundle Academy.
