Grade 4 – Grade 12
Unique among independent schools in Canada, Rundle delivers parallel College and Academy programs on two separate campuses. The Academy program meets the needs of students who have a diagnosed learning disability, with or without ADHD. Our students are in the average to above-average range of intellectual functioning but have difficulties with specific academic activities and skills.
Rundle Academy is a caring learning community where students have the space to develop confidence, self-esteem and motivation to excel academically and grow in their love for learning.
In September 2026, we will open our doors to an expanded Rundle Academy building. When the project is complete, 175 more students with diagnosed learning disabilities will have access to our tailored and specialized education.

2024 College Distinguished Alum: Jenna Galloway ‘10
In spite of her ongoing commitments and responsibilities, Jenna has consistently made the time to return to Rundle to teach, mentor, speak and inspire our students and support our programs.
Not only has she made a tremendous impact on Rundle and our students, she has also made a significant impact far beyond the walls of our school. In 2016, Jenna founded Wymbin, an ever-expanding youth wellness, preschool and kindergarten education and yoga studio which supports mental wellness programs for children. In 2022, Jenna also founded and is the CEO of Fledge Health, an innovative and comprehensive EdTech, online educational platform dedicated to supporting children’s mental and emotional health and wellness.
We appreciate the lasting impact she continues to make on the next generation, showing us that true success isn’t just about personal achievement—it’s about lifting others up along the way.
2024 Academy Distinguished Alum: Kieran Spice ‘09
Over the years, Kieran has continued to give back to Rundle Academy and our students in so many ways, on so many occasions. He is a great ambassador to the Rundle Academy community. We are proud to see how he has taken his life experiences and challenges and transformed them into strength, purpose, and service to others. He has made the four-hour round trip from Lethbridge on many occasions to be here for our students — to share his story, offer guidance, and help others recognize the strength and potential that lies within them.
Aside from his engagement with Rundle Academy, Kieran has extended that compassion and support far beyond the walls of our school. Currently, Kieran is the Interim Team Lead as an addictions counsellor at Beccarian Correctional Care in Lethbridge, helping individuals transform their lives through healing, growth, and rehabilitation by providing therapeutic support to incarcerated individuals.
This year, we have started a new award to recognize an alumni who has engaged in significant volunteer service and engagement with Rundle through volunteering, mentorship, coaching, supporting Rundle students and programs.
2024 College Outstanding Mentor Award: Megan Weimer ‘21
Megan is truly an outstanding mentor and dedicated member of our Rundle community and we are proud to present her with the Outstanding Mentorship Award
During her time at university, Megan has consistently gone above and beyond by generously mentoring both our current students and fellow alumni. Through one-on-one conversations and tours on the University of Western Ontario campus, email, phone, she has offered career advice, guidance, and real-world insight to those navigating their academic and professional paths. Her willingness to give back reflects a deep commitment to our community and serves as a powerful example of leadership, connection, and supporting the next generation.
2024 Academy Outstanding Mentor Award: Catherine Carruthers ‘18
We are proud to present the Outstanding Mentorship Award to Catherine, a dedicated member of our alumni community.
Catherine has been a steadfast supporter of our students, especially in the Fine Arts Program at the Academy’s annual Fine Arts Day. Despite her ongoing commitments and responsibilities, Catherine has consistently made the time to return to Rundle over the past many years to participate, inspire, support and teach our students on that day.
Whether it’s through sharing her expertise, being an exceptional mentor and role model, Catherine has shown what it means to truly invest in the next generation.
