At Rundle College, students become leaders, scholars, scientists, artists, musicians, athletes, humanitarians, philanthropists and more by discovering their passions and potential across a broad range of opportunities. Rundle students thrive in a safe, caring and kind environment.
Following Rundle’s Pathways to Learning philosophy, students’ high academic achievement is fortified by a multitude of co-curricular, character, and leadership-building programs.
Unique among independent schools in Canada, Rundle delivers parallel College and Academy programs on two separate campuses. The Academy program meets the needs of students who have a diagnosed learning disability, with or without ADHD. Rundle Academy students share their stories
Xavier J. - Current Student
“The greatest impact of Rundle Academy on my learning is the class size. In my old school there were 28 students so the teacher would not have time to help everyone and answer your question. At Rundle Academy, it is easier to learn because of the accommodations, such as ear defenders, music, audio, and fidgets. We also get an iPad and a computer to do our work on, which helps me learn."
Tyler G. - Current Student
"From day one, I felt accepted into this caring and supportive community, and it truly changed my life. Not only are we supported by incredible teachers in the classroom, but we’re also encouraged by our classmates. Every student here understands what it’s like to have strengths and struggles—and the Rundle community teaches us how to lift each other up and succeed together."
Claudia S. - Alumni
“When I started at the Academy in grade 5, my teacher made me feel so welcome and taught me new strategies that helped me with my learning. I felt like I finally belonged. Everyone at Rundle has different needs and you don’t have to worry about being judged for yours. My teachers have supported me to self-advocate for what I need to succeed, which will be so important for me in the future."
As a parent of an Academy student, I have witnessed firsthand the life-changing transformation that can happen for our neurodiverse learners and their families. When students join our school, they feel truly seen, understood, celebrated, and supported to succeed.
