Rundle at 40: The Bridgeland Campus

Our next memorable moment as we celebrate Rundle at 40 reflects on the Rundle community’s move into a small, inner-city school located in Calgary’s Bridgeland neighbourhood. A modest, yet functional space, this building offered nine classrooms and a small gym that served the College community from 1986 to 1996.

To some, this campus may have appeared to be a simple stop along the Rundle journey, but our time in Bridgeland represented a crucial stage of growth for our school. Over those 10 years, our program expanded, new staff arrived who would help shape the school’s future, our prioritization on academics, character education, and co-curricular pursuits began to take shape, and our values of kindness, curiosity, and wellness were in no short supply.

The Bridgeland campus truly played a vital role in shaping the Rundle we know today.
