Giving Tuesday at Rundle

#Thankful Thursday

Thank you to our families, staff, students, and alumni for your generous contributions to our annual Vision & Values campaign on #GivingTuesday. Together, we raised over $36,000 for our Rundle students and schools, with additional matching donations still to come through employee corporate matching programs.

We are proud of this year’s graduating class, who have raised over $2,245 for the Student Bursary Fund, with over 70% overall participation. And for the sixth year in a row, 100% of our Academy grade 12s donate to Project 20.23!

Thank you Rundle! It is inspiring  to see this level of support from our community as well as the engagement and philanthropic spirit of our grade 12 students.

Your generous support allows us to continue to provide enhanced programming, elevated student learning and a unique Rundle experience to all our families. Your donations make all the difference and we are so grateful for your commitment to Rundle.

Please take the time to read our Giving Stories and visit our Vision & Values 2022-2023 page to see the impact your generosity has on our students.

Thank you for your gifts, your kindness, and your commitment to Rundle.

#GivingTuesday

Giving Tuesday is a global generosity movement unleashing the power of people and organizations to transform their communities around the world. Giving Tuesday immediately follows Black Friday and Cyber Monday and began as a way to spread kindness and generosity as we kick off the holiday season. Now, over a decade later, Giving Tuesday is the biggest day of giving around the world!

Since 2016, Rundle has participated in Giving Tuesday to support the annual needs of our students and programs through our Visions & Values Campaign Rundle’s involvement in the day was inspired by the graduating Class of 2015 whose graduation gift was to grow Rundle’s Bursary Fund. It was their goal to create a sustainable fund that would provide tuition assistance for current Rundle students whose family has encountered a difficult financial situation and do not have the financial means to continue their education at Rundle. The graduates committed to giving a minimum gift of $20.15 for the next 5 years or a lump sum payment of $100.75. This tradition has continued with following graduating classes. Since 20.15, our graduating classes from both campuses, along with their and other Rundle families, have raised over $235,000 towards the Bursary Fund.

Project 20.15 has been more than just a student initiative. Since 2015, other Rundle community members including teachers, parents and alumni, have contributed to this campaign, which has become known as Rundle Gives on Giving Tuesday

Starting November 29, we invite you to join Rundle Gives on Giving Tuesday and make a tax-deductible donation to support any of our programs. For more information or to make a donation, please visit Giving at Rundle

We also invite you to become a Friend of Rundle Monthly Donor and make a small monthly pledge of $15 pledge in support of our school.
